DESCRIPTION
$2,500 to an undergraduate music education major who is studying voice

REQUIREMENTS
Required Materials Checklist:

  1. Current resume, including Mu Phi Epsilon participation
  2. Two current letters of recommendation
  3. Most recent unofficial college transcript
  4. Proof of current registration or acceptance in a vocal study program
  5. A high quality audio recording with 3 art songs OR arias of contrasting styles in 3 different languages, one of which is in English, not to exceed 15 minutes. Submission must be via links to YouTube or other comparable sites provided to the online application system (YouTube preferred, no Dropbox). Recordings in the Scholarship Application process must not be older than two years from the date of application.
  6. List of the recorded repertoire with the following information:
    1. Exact titles, opus numbers
    2. Composers’ names
    3. Timings, including both individual and total timings of repertoire
  7. Brief statement identifying the ways that continuing vocal study will enhance your Music Education degree.
  8. Detailed budget of how this money will be used
  9. Recent programs and/or reviews
  10. $25 Application Fee
